THE RULES OF MEMBERSHIP

KNOW THE RULES!


It is important to understand that CompSeats exists to serve BOTH our members and our entertainment partners.  By creating this symbiotic relationship between the two, we have an obligation to manage boundaries and rules so that both sides will mutually benefit.

GENERAL RULES ON MEMBERSHIPS


  • All offers are complimentary regardless of their cash value.
  • Members are NOT ALLOWED to transfer or sell tickets.
  • CompSeats members may gain access to the current available offers by logging on to www.compseats.com and providing their Member ID and password 24 hours a day.  You must be a current member in good standing to reserve offerings.
  • Members must be 18 years of age or older.  For liability reasons, minors are not allowed to use CompSeats tickets.
  • Only one name per membership is permitted.  Your membership is for your own personal use.  Only the person listed as the actual member may use this membership service and the member AGREES to attend the show/event for each reservation made.
  • Only one membership per person allowed.
  • Members agree to HONOR their reservations or cancel the reservation before the deadline noted in their reservation confirmation email (usually at least 48 hours). 
  • Any member that reserves seats/tickets and does not check-in to pick up their tickets will be assessed a ‘no show’.  Members are limited to two (2) “no shows”.   A third (3rd) occurrence will cancel membership.  (It is important to us that we serve our entertainment partners to the best of our ability.)
  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Any complaint received about a member’s behavior by a theater, venue or event may result in a review of the member's account, during which time no reservations can be made and membership privileges may be revoked.

RESERVATIONS


  • Please only reserve tickets that you are confident you will use.
  • Members may reserve tickets to more than one show per day provided they are at least 4 hours apart.
  • CompSeats reserves the right to distribute the tickets and offers in a manner that we judge is best.
  • All reservations are final.  However, we understand that circumstances out of your control occasionally arise.  While we discourage a habit of this, members will be allowed 2 reservation cancellations in this circumstance IF IT IS STILL 48 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT.  A third cancellation could lead to cancelled membership.
  • If you must cancel, email us at rsvp@compseats.com.  Canceling within 48 hours of the event will result in a "no-show fee" of $20 per ticket reserved.
  • Any member that reserves a show/event and does not pick up their tickets will be assessed a "no-show fee" of $20 per ticket.
  • Members may reserve up to (2) tickets or up to (4) tickets for each event depending on their membership level and based on availability.
  • There may be instances when we restrict the number of times you may make reservations for high demand shows/event.  If this happens, we will make any restrictions clear in our show/event listing.
  • Our entertainment partners reserve the right to withdraw their complimentary offerings at any time.
  • In the event that a reservation is not honored or a show/event is cancelled, the member agrees not to hold CompSeats or any participating entities responsible.

TICKET PICK UP & SEATING


  • Please only reserve tickets that you are confident you will use.
  • It is the member's responsibility to provide printed confirmation if a question occurs regarding reservations requested.
  • Members must follow pick up instructions.  Only the CompSeats member making the reservation may pick up tickets / attend the event and must present a government issued photo ID upon doing so.  Late arrivals forfeit their reservation.
  • Members MUST NOT CONTACT THE BOX OFFICE OR EVENT LOCATION DIRECTLY.  If you have questions about your reservation, you may contact the CompSeats Team at rsvp@compseats.com.
  • Seating is at the discretion of the box office or event promoter and is usually determined on the day of the event.
  • You must be discreet when picking up tickets at the box office;  we do not want to hinder their ability to sell full price tickets.
  • Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate revocation of membership.

RIGHTS OF REFUSAL


  • CompSeats reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is unpleasant, discourteous, or creates a problem of any kind at the event or directly with CompSeats.
  • CompSeats will not be held financially responsible for your disruptive actions.
  • CompSeats and our entertainment partners reserve the right to refuse confirmed reservations for inappropriate dress and/or conduct that may result in cancellation of membership without refund.
  • Listings are confidential information for members only.  Anyone found disclosing information in a public setting, blog or chat room may have their membership instantly revoked.
  • CompSeats reserves the right to review applicants before processing them for membership.

EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS & WEB ACCESS


  • At times, we may send all members an email notification as a courtesy.  CompSeats is:
    • Not responsible for undeliverable email.
    • Not responsible for late delivery of email.
    • Not responsible for emails that end up in junk mail or spam areas.
    • Not responsible for any member's web access limitations at work or at home.

FEES & REFUNDS


  • You MUST show up for your reservation.  Any member that makes a reservation for an event and does not pick up their tickets will be assessed a "no-show fee" of $20 per ticket reserved.  Any member that reserves a golf tee time and does not honor that reservation will be assessed a $50 "no-show fee."
  • Any fees owed will be invoiced and sent via email or to the physical address listed on your account.
  • Fees and regulations are subject to change without advance notice.
  • All discrepancies, adjustments, or requests must be made in writing and emailed to rsvp@compseats.com.
  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
